Biography

Rekesh obtained a BSc honors degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Sheffield. He went on to gain a Masters degree in Audiological Science from the University College London and a Certificate in Clinical Competency in Audiology.

He is a highly skilled Senior Clinical Audiologist and has several years of experience in a variety of clinical areas within both the NHS and the private audiology sector. Rekesh trained at various NHS specialist hospitals whilst also working in the audiology department at the Barnet and Chase Farm NHS Trust. Through this he was exposed to several areas of audiology such as vestibular, pediatrics and adult rehabilitation.  He took a special interest to Adult rehabilitation specialising in the rehabilitation and management of individuals suffering with tinnitus and hyperacusis.  This lead him to work for The Tinnitus Clinic for 5 years where he expanded his knowledge whilst also helped train audiologists.

Rekesh was commended for his high level of professionalism, care and commitment demonstrated to patients by one of the most prominent hearing related panels in the UK with the organisers of the competition stating: “Our judges were impressed by both the number and quality of Mr. Patel’s nominations, which clearly demonstrated his dedication to his job and patients.”

Testimonials

"After years of problems with too much ear wax, summer holidays spent avoiding swimming and weeks in pain, with complete occlusion using ear drops to try and soften the wax before syringing I am now free of all that anxiety. If only I'd known how quick and inexpensive it could be to get earwax removed easily and painlessly, Thank you. "

"I contacted Pindrop as I had a bad wax build up in my right ear which was actually making me feel unwell and depressed. Yesterday I attended my appointment at Pindrop Winchmore Hill Branch and the change in my persona was amazing. I could hear again and the 'brick wall' in my ear had been knocked down. I am one very happy 72 year old bunny! Thank you Pindrop soooo much."
