Biography
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon James Davis joined LFAC in 2010 and combines his LFAC work with an NHS post in Devon and major academic and training roles.
Mr Davis was fellow-trained at the highly regarded University of Johns Hopkins, Baltimore, USA. After taking up a consultant post at Torbay Hospital in Devon, Mr Davis established a non-union and lower limb deformity correction service together with the full spectrum of foot and ankle surgery. Mr Davis is a director of the higher surgical training programme for all orthopaedic registrars in Devon and Cornwall. He is an elected reviewer for the Bone and Joint Journal and examiner for the FRCS (Tr+Ortho) exam. Mr Davis is also the secretary of the BOFAS education committee.
